Thanksgiving Recipe Card

Hey everyone, Happy early Thanksgiving!!! :)

Today i have a recipe card to share with you. This was for a swap over at Creating the Crafty Life. The theme was Thanksgiving, and we could do any dish. So of course i chose the biggest one of all, the TURKEY!!!! I have this recipe that i made a couple years ago and like OMG!!!! it is sooo delicious. My in-laws always say that the breast meat is sooo juicy and just can't believe it, well i would have to agree. :) The key is to inject the turkey, yes i said inject. So hear is a vid on the card i made. The recipe is below the vid, i hope you see this in time to try it out. you can make this recipe any time of the year and substitute with a whole chicken.

Thanks for watching :)

MB's Treasurista Summer Breeze Blog Hop

Welcome to the MB's Treasurista Summer Breeze blog hop! I'm so glad you are able to join us today! Summer is here in full force. I know its hot, but there are those nice summer breezes that can cool you down. With all the activities that we are doing and still going to do this summer, i'm sure you have alot of reasons to craft. So, To get that mojo flowing, my designers and myself got together and created some Summer inspired projects, keeping in mind the ways to cool down. Please check out all the blogs and keep hopping, as there is a grand prize giveaway and hidden blog candy throughout the designers blogs. I hope the MBT Designers inspire you as much as they do me! ;)

My Project:
Here is what i came up with. Now summer colors are not really my thing, so i had to dig a little deep and ended up using yellow. I made a recipe card (Recipe included) for a summer drink to cool you down. So i got creative with MB's Treasurista goodies, the GCD Studio's Funhouse paper pad, and a new to me stamp set by TPC Studio (Slice of Life). I covered a 4x6 piece of chipboard with the paper. i made a pocket on the front by cutting diagonally down a separate piece of designer paper, which is the same patterned as the back side. I fussy cut the pitcher and glass and popped them up. I also fussy cut the tables from the Simple Stick stamp set made by Fiskars. I colored the centers of the mint flower trim with my maize copic marker, just to add a little dimension. The envelope below contains a little tag with a sentiment and the back side has my info! I also decided to make more of these and use them in the Cool it Down Recipe Card swap at CCL, which was my inspiration.
