MB's Treasurista Summer Breeze Blog Hop

Welcome to the MB's Treasurista Summer Breeze blog hop! I'm so glad you are able to join us today! Summer is here in full force. I know its hot, but there are those nice summer breezes that can cool you down. With all the activities that we are doing and still going to do this summer, i'm sure you have alot of reasons to craft. So, To get that mojo flowing, my designers and myself got together and created some Summer inspired projects, keeping in mind the ways to cool down. Please check out all the blogs and keep hopping, as there is a grand prize giveaway and hidden blog candy throughout the designers blogs. I hope the MBT Designers inspire you as much as they do me! ;)

My Project:
Here is what i came up with. Now summer colors are not really my thing, so i had to dig a little deep and ended up using yellow. I made a recipe card (Recipe included) for a summer drink to cool you down. So i got creative with MB's Treasurista goodies, the GCD Studio's Funhouse paper pad, and a new to me stamp set by TPC Studio (Slice of Life). I covered a 4x6 piece of chipboard with the paper. i made a pocket on the front by cutting diagonally down a separate piece of designer paper, which is the same patterned as the back side. I fussy cut the pitcher and glass and popped them up. I also fussy cut the tables from the Simple Stick stamp set made by Fiskars. I colored the centers of the mint flower trim with my maize copic marker, just to add a little dimension. The envelope below contains a little tag with a sentiment and the back side has my info! I also decided to make more of these and use them in the Cool it Down Recipe Card swap at CCL, which was my inspiration.
