A fond MB's Treasurista Farewell to Leslie Owens

I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July!
Get ready to discover a world of wonder! Today's blog is filled with a beautiful card, altered art, gift ideas and more! We are saying a very fond farewell to the amazing Leslie Owens today. She has been on our Design Team for the past two years and we wanted to honor her incredible talent with today's special blog. Leslie was also the head designer and was a huge part of the behind the scenes work.  Her gorgeous creations have been inspiring! It was always a treat to see her latest MB's Treasurista projects. We have hand-picked a few of our favorites.

And now it's time to celebrate the amazing crafts of Leslie Owens! It has been a fantastic two years of having Leslie on our Design Team. Her dazzling style and joyful enthusiasm for MB's Treasurista has made her an incredibly valued member of our team. She has been here since the beginning and it will be sad to see her go.

About Leslie:

Hi! My name is Leslie Owens and I have been crafting for over 20 years in one form or another! I started in my teens with my sister teaching me to crochet. I then moved on to cross stitch and then wood crafts. In 2003, I found scrapbooking and I have been hooked ever since!! LOL I love creating mini albums, layouts, cards, and altered items. I am so glad to have found this wonderful site with all you awesome, talented ladies! I look forward to getting to know all of you!

We begin today's tribute to Leslie with these incredible altered stacked books!

Here's another breathtaking piece of altered art. She altered this cute balsa box with a pretty vintage touch and dedicated it to the store with "Life's little Treasures". She featured some of our favorite products, Chinese Braid Trim and Acrylic Flower Sprays along with a few of our mini diamonds!

Leslie also has a special knack for shadow box cards. This card just takes traditional cards to a whole new level. We love the cute flower cluster and all the purple touches.

What an amazing journey it's been. A Huge thanks to Leslie for her many years of inspiration and dedication on the MB's Treasurista Design Team. It has been such a joy for us to share her talents with all of you. We know that she will be making her mark in the crafting world for many years to come. We wish her the absolute best in everything she does and all the success in her new family business Owen's Valley Farms, located in Ohio. Thank you so much Leslie!
