Soft and Sweet - Altered, Lovely, and Original

Hello again, MBT fans!

Up today are the three latest projects from MBT designers Deb Edwards, Misty Busby, and Patricia. While each of their projects are very different from each other, they all offer up some amazing use of soft colors. And, lucky for you, there is detail of how they did some of it! Learn how Deb created those tantalizing pastels on her stunning birdcage and check out how Misty softened those darling embellishments on her positively lovely altered frame. And finally, just look at Patricia's amazing mixture of hints of soft blue with black details in her awesome (and very imaginative) grunge artist overalls.

Here is Deb's beautiful birdcage:

Thank you for watching, had fun creating this Altered Bird Cage. This is one of Michaels little birdcages from the $1.50 bins. The original color of the cage was a silver, so what I did was I used my molding paste and covered the whole cage with the paste and then sprayed with Lindys. Let that dry and now the real fun begins with decorating using  MBTreasurista,s products. Hope ya'll like it.
Here is a list of all the product I used for this project:

And next is Misty's gorgeous Enchanted Love Frame:

So here is my project. I had a blast making this and used some colors that were very out of my comfort zone. I'll be putting pictures of my family in the frame and sending this to my mom. I made this in a class, if you want to see how this was made, please click HERE

Supplies:

Paste Cala Lillies

Thanks for looking and have a great day, Misty♥

Lastly, we have Patricia's uniquely brilliant creation:

Mixed Media Vintage Grunge Artist Overalls

Supplies:

Aged Lt. Blue Crocheted Lace
Antique White Daisy Lace
Black Scalloped Venise Lace
Nautical Vintage Crocheted Doily
Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays
TCW Doodling Templates - Mini Bingo

Wow, Deb, Misty, and Patricia! Thank you so much for sharing with us such wonderful ways to utilize those pretty, soft tones. Pastels and light colors can become icky sweet, but these ladies nailed it in their creations!
